On the origin of Character:

Mario

Originally, I planned to make him self loving an slightly greedy, despite is nature in the games. He would love his own games, constantly ignore other characters, and never play games other than his own. After the addition of Wario, Mario was created as a humbler man, more like his game incarnations. However, he would whine, complain, and insult other characters. He was made as Wario's brother-in-law, therefore, Steward Pid the green monkey would be his brother-in-law, as Wario was adopted by DK.
